Background Investigation/Security Support Services
DTSV has performed Background Investigation/Security Support Services in the areas of:
- Processing new employee background investigations
- Tracking background investigations and performing support functions including Entellitrack (Background Investigations Tracking System) and Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) administration
- Reviewing required forms (e.g., SF85, SF85P and SF86) and processes for completeness and accuracy
- Maintaining accountability of all personnel security files during handling and processing
- Ensuring accuracy of entries made to personnel security files and any associated databases
- Establishing spreadsheets, databases, and/or reports on case history, providing data entry, database maintenance, and administration services
- Assisting with personnel security orientation briefings
- Using HSPD-12 database including PIV card applicant data entry, verification, editing, and use of the HSPD-12 database to perform the role of a Registrar or Card Issuer/Activation Officer
- Capturing biometric data (taking facial photos and taking PIV card applicant fingerprints)
- Identity proofing (manually inspecting, validating and scanning identity source documents such as passports, driver’s licenses, etc.)
- Processing visit requests and preparing access lists
